When I was a little guy, I would always marvel at those blenders.
My Grandmother had a Chrome Based Waring Blendor with two speeds.
When I got older the first time I had an encounter with a 39 Speed Blendor, when I ran it though all the speeds I found there was little difference between all those speeds. So really it was just a few more RPMs or Less than High or Low. And if you're blending something, You want it blended. Yes this was pre Food Processor, but I hardly found a use for the Blendor besides Pureeing, making Bread Crumbs or back then... Frozen Daiquiris.

I like that model vs. the one I found a week ago, but it's like new, hardly used at all.
A thread on this one and some others, for anyone interested is here: www.automaticwasher.org/cgi-bin/T...

Here's a working link:
sandiego.craigslist.org/csd/app/5... I had one of those, this model with the timer, but then again the 220V version. One day I was making a smoothie in it. Suddenly something got loose and the content of the blender got out and some ended up in the motor block. There were some flashes and that was it. |
