My 2005 Miele Premiere Plus is beginning to get a little long in the tooth, though it still works very well. The hinged filter assembly in the sump has broken it's plastic hinge twice, but still fits together and does the job, and last week the "blocked spray arm" sensor went awry, and won't stop blinking even with an empty dishwasher. I've removed the arms and checked all three of them for blockages...nada. Other than that, all is well with mine.
Who's got some really old Miele DW daily driver technology out there?I'll bet our friends in Europe have some old still running Miele's! |

Your blocked wash arm sensor might not be seeing the magnet that's at the end of the lower and middle arm. I would check to make sure that the magnet is still clipped at the end on the underside end of the arms. If one is missing just check the sump and filter array for it. That should solve the issue, if not then yeah it's the sensor and I think it's located in the side left wall. I know in my LaPerla it's there. There is one sensor in the base area, and one in the middle. There isn't a sensor for the top arm.
