Might find this a bit of interest.

I personally don't 100% agree, cannot bring myself to make a towel go more than 1 use.

Same here:  Bath linens get one use save for hand towels which are changed daily.

 

I tend to wash items a bit more frequently than most of the recommendations made by the affable chap in the video.

Bath towels get used exactly once here, and then they are sent on an all expenses paid vacation to the washing machine.
