Looks newer than the 1960's, but the aqua/turquoise interior is reminiscent of the 60's fridges...anyone recognize the brand and approximate year?

I'm thinking that badge at the top of both refrigerator pulls says 'Sears Coldspot'.  That "Provincial" styling on the doors looks straight out of the Sears catalog.

for Sears' Coldspot. Late 60s to early 70s, if memory serves correctly.

and always seem to be priced high….250-1000 (for a red-paneled one I saw in LA about 2 years ago). They are monstrously heavy to drag home, though...

My friend Glenna D. got one of these soon after she and her husband Larry married. I'm pretty certain she got it at the same time as the Lady Kenmore washer & dryer set, which would have been in '67.

Did you actually drag one home and use it for some time? I recall your one experience with hauling something home and it fell(not one of these).

There are some hydraulic dollies (sp?) that make sense to employ and some of the members own and use these. You can rent them here, which makes sense if you're carting things up and downstairs.

These configurations agree with me - freezer on the bottom. What's old is new, again, eh Hans?
