Let's just hope some flipper, or one of those saps from "House Hunters" doesn't buy it and give it an Update with all stainless and hard woods, with granite countertops and painted fireplace bricks.
Not that there is anything wrong with those things, just please don't do it to this house. It deserves to keep it's original charm that has so lovingly been maintained for all these years. |

I would buy the place and preserve it like a museum. It always amazes me how someone can live somewhere for 50-60 years, never update it and have it still looking absolutely perfect. I mean, at least a little wear would be expected, but none!? |

This was posted a year or two ago; that's all I can remember. Mine is untouched for dusting, but only for a third of that time. I remember a PBS program interviewing Quentin Crisp and he said that dust does not get any worse after the first three years. |
