Phoenix causes us to have to make up excuses about why we have matching end-tables of dishwashers. :-)
The tank on that Westinghouse is throwing me--that top is not like their later GE-clone interior. Hmm. Someone will probably be able to eyeball it and know. If it's the microfilter system with the wash tower that has the little spinning fan atop it, then that's WAY worth grabbing, BOL or no.
Replied to your GE 2800 post ;-)
The "good stuff" makes rounds, and comes in waves. Ever notice how someone will find one Monkey Wards dishwasher, and suddenly, there's seven listed in Shoppers Square? Weird. Then, it's tumbleweeds blowing through until the next surge. I remember one time when we were tripping over Mobile Maids. |

Well, I have FIVE. They make great end support for countertop workbenches :p Phoenix is horrible. It's enabled me, anyway, to have one or two of every appliance I have ever wanted. Goal now is just to have ONE DW in the kitchen where it belongs. And One as a backup. With allowance for a big box of duplicate spares in case either of the aforementioned ever needs anything.
Re; tank--want me to go over and have another look at that GE portable? I'm sure it's a '72-ish model and I think plastisol might've been in use by then. I just don't know enough about GE to say for sure. Maybe it IS porcelain used only in portables for some reason? |

This one may be. Same design as the one now posted in Shopper's Square in Honolulu. Not sure if this one in Phoenix would have the filter, or not: CLICK HERE TO GO TO roto204's LINK |
