Have to give them credit for a creative presentation...I think I want the poster more than the machines.

These look like they're from 1989-1990. If the listing is true and considering that this is someone who has made a successful living in the entertainment industry, it's nice to see that he kept this set for 16 or 17 years and got good use out of it. We all know the throwaway mentality is huge around California, especially if you have money. I know that if it had been me (non-appliance-obsessed that is), I would have been constantly buying TOL and switching machines every 3 years or less! (*Ducks and runs from torch-wielding mob*)

And this set appears to be in awesome shape. One thing I've noticed is that the stars always take good care of their appliances!

The Money Soaked

I have catered for the very rich and used some really horrific tools and appliances.
Vacuums seem to be the worst.
If its for the maid, let them do it by hand if they have to.

Movie stars are lazy, they don't lift a finger to do anything for themselves. It's the help/caretakers, the Kato Kailen's who take care of the machines.

Their money is used to buy anything and everything, service related, even psychiatry for their animals.

Wished you could of seen what I saw when I was living in Santa Barbara County, with the rich and famous.

Exactly! Those kinds of people live a fairy tale existence in which their wish is someone else's command, cost of it be damned.

They say you can always tell who has hired help. The visible stuff is clean yet behind an appliance (as an example) is cataclysmic!

What is this....

Ebay subculture of:

Dirty Towels
Dirty Socks (washed as per EBAY standards!)
Old shorts/gym clothes
Used shoes with stains

Really, it boggles the mind how bent some people are. What kind of creep--as in the seller--would even take someone's used towels? (He'll throw it in if you are "into that")

Into that? Geez.
