1988/89 version......love the chrome strips on these models....

this should have the quick-flip option to toss the clothes towards the front of the drum for unloading

This is a fantastic dryer.  Especially being gas.  This dryer is when "soft heat" was just a label on the face plate.  This is a really fast dryer!  I think the soft heat applied to lower temp fabrics when options were selected.

I always loved looking at these at our Sears store in Florence, AL back then

Joe....

inside the door opening, there were two pushbuttons, using both hands as to keep them out of the way, you pushed both simultaneously, which caused the drum to rotate a split second, roughly a 1 1/2 revolution, enough to toss articles in the back towards the front....you could hit this over and over if needed....this was only available for a few years, I think 1988-90..

I don't know of any Whirlpool/Kenmore dryer that didn't have the soft heat stepped down feature....every time the heat cycled, it lowered the temp by 5 degrees, as the load got dryer the temp was lowered.....probably the only machine that offers such a thing, but it does give some of the best wrinkle free results compared to other dryers allowing high heat temps across the whole cycle....

a feature I wished my Neptunes had
