Tought you maybe wanted some pics of the fairly new Asko 11kg washer.

Was working on this, cause the customer was saying it had a leak..and it had. The connection between the tub and detergent compartment was bad, and the doorseal was damaged by some fabric.

Despite they are made by Gorenje, the Asko's still live up to their old filosophy and construction methods. Anyway, Gorenje is'nt bad at all. I'm responsible for all the service and aftermaket stuff in our company, and compared to Electrolux company, Gorenje is much easier to deal with, and the products are more easy to work on.

Looks like they haven't changed a thing in years! Except for the bearing spider and motor that is.

Also Timon, there are a few things I want to ask about Asko, i'll PM you about it in a sec.

Asko will remain the same, as Gorenje want to use the Asko's as their premium brand. The only thing I dont like, is that the design on the Asko dryers is changed, and the new ones is not as good as the old ones. This was done when they developed the new Asko heat pump.

I still prefer Asko's design over any other FL washer available here in the US.  The front gasket seal design is great.  I wish other makers would switch to this type like commercial machines have.  Still waiting to see how their quality holds up now.  Keeping mine alive as long as I can.
