When did they came out? I can't be arsed to look it up in my books and Google won't work if you don't know the model number. I always thought the W780 was first but apparently they had 400-series machines with keys and a rapid advance/static timer?

Pic related is what i'm looking for, it's mielerod69's W459U.

Hello from another Dutchman.

Miele had indeed digital series before this. Here are some ads from 1982. They show a washer, a dryer and a dishwasher, all with touchbuttons and a rapid advance timer.

The W700 series were introduced in 1987 and IIRC they were replaced in 1990 by a newer series.

I do not agree that 700-series machines came out in '87, a few days ago I took a W755 apart from.. 1985.

I think you mean the Hydromatic/Novotronic machines aka the W71x series machines.

Here's a video of a T351 with the rapid advance timer demonstrated.

Sorry, yes, I confused a few dates. The W700 series was introduced in 1982. I have a brochure from the introduction of that line, it's from December 1982.

Oh the dryer in the video looked so stylish

The silver metal with the black and silver buttons together with the white.
The hint of the orange.
Beautiful.

These machines were launched in 1978 up to 1987 with the W784.

Miele W754S

Here is a photo of my Miele W754S. It's one of my daily drivers, fantastic machines and uses loads of water for a proper rinse.
