Hi all as you may or may not remember, we have been using an LG for almost a year now. I had a slight change of heart, I missed the Miele. So it's back in its rightful home.

The lg is a good machine, better than say Hoover, Hotpoint and the other low to middle end machines. But it doesn't quite compare to a Miele and that's where we were spoilt. It's just such a more refined machine, no vibration and quiet. And I see water and suds, something I never saw with the LG

I am not totally convinced about the steam function either, laundry didn't come out any cleaner, or any less wrinkled.

That by the way is the Miele two part ultraphase detergent, which is superb.

Congratulations!

Once you are accustomed to a Miele, it is the washer against which you measure all others.

So glad that you have come to your senses. A superb machine in every which way. We have been enjoying the luxury of a MIELE for the last six years and would not have it any other way.

And I agree with tomturbomatic - the benchmark for which you will always compare all other machines too.

The true luxury of a MIELE is in the robustness, the simplicity of operation and the knowing that "er is geen betere" or "immer besser"!!

Regards.
