I spotted these on CL Denver and wanted to get all your opinions on buying these despite the issues with the washer.....I'm tempted to get them.....

If i needed them i would snap them up. I did the water inlet valve on our old Whirlpool and it was a straight forward R&R repair. Maybe someone here knows what one costs for these machines. I paid $40 at a local parts store for the Whirlpool, i thought that was pricey but we needed it working ASAP.

I found one of these here locally too with a gas dryer, considered getting it for when Mother's stacked orbital Maytag kicks the bucket but who knows how long that may be.  But the local one is quite a bit more pricey than the one above.  I'd snatch that one in a minute and I doubt it would take much to repair it.

If the only thing wrong is the fill valve needing replacing that should be an easy enough repair that won't be overly costly. You should grab them
