I have a 10kg LG true steam washer. The re-circulation pump is activating but only a dribble of water comes out. Trying to open the back/bottom and rear but it is like fort Knox. Anyone have any tips how to get inside to check for blockages etc?

Frontloaders are typically disassembled from the front.  The top panel may need to come off first, then the control panel, then the front panel.

Search online for parts diagrams via the model number which will provide clues to disassembly.  There may also be videos on YouTube.

Thanks for the tip. I managed to get the bottom front panel off and checked the tube from the re-circulation pump for blockages but none. Now the pump makes a really weird noise and no water pumping. Just remembered that I got a 5 year replacement warranty which is good until next year. Should anything go wrong with the appliance it will be replaced with a new one. How very exciting. Looks like I will be getting a new machine. I had better put the front panel back and hopefully they wont know I have been fiddling otherwise warranty will be void!

So, the repair guy came to look at the LG Trusteam washer and agreed the recirculating pump had broken. He wanted to fix it but I advised I had a replacement warranty, he thought I was mad wanting a new washer and tried very hard to persuade me to let him fix it but I stood by principles and said no. So this morning I get to go to Harvey Norman and pick up the new replacement. And guess what? I get to keep the old one so I will replace the pump myself. Still need to figure out how to get to it but sure I will have fun working it out. 2 front loaders side by side in the laundry room will look quite smart.
