hello to all aw member first i would like to say that i have finaly seen the light about the pratical use of front load washer but back to the subject at hand, my brother and his girlfriend my sister in law will soon start shoping for new appliances but wow can they get what they went with only a 1000$ per appliance and what i clearly do not understand why do my sister in law my brother girlfriend went to stick to a top load washer she wents 1 of those fancy wash plates model i am sure if it was my brother my brother would go with a frontload washer dryer set but my sister in law wents a top load and whats the point in recomending them a fancy washer they wash everything using only cold water for there washer dryer rather than paying 1000$ tax for a fancy washer they would be better off buying a good old fashion direct drive topload like this off craiglist no point in them buying a fancy washer dryer set or go vintage at least thats what i am thinking and with them having a frontload set with the pedistal my sister in law would have easyer acess to fill empty the washer dryer.

of one of the HE TL washers washing a full load of clothes or a comforter. Let her decide from that. I think the HE TL washers are better than they used to be. If she must get a TL washer I think she can get a brand new SQ TL traditional washer for LESS than 1000...

I think you should leave the matter for what it is. If you are going to persuade to buy a washer she doesn't like to begin with, you will never hear the end of it when she still doesn't like it when she has it. People have a right to make their own mistakes. I think you should let your sister in law make her own mistakes.
