It amazes me how many of these English Rose kitchens come up, they were expensive in their day. This is a particularly ugly example to my eyes although it is interesting to see the extra fitments in the larder unit.
The cooker is a Tricity Sovereign, their answer to the belling Format and is certainly not original, nor is the sink CLICK HERE TO GO TO vacbear58's LINK on eBay |

Made by Belling it is closely based on the late version of their Classic range - probably early 1980s

I would say this is mid 1990s although the general style can be traced back through to the 1970s

This must be a later version as they have dropped the double door format in favour if single door. Not the larder interior looks very similar to the one previously posted in this thread

This is nothing to do with the vintage Hygena kitchens I normally post - this is a trip to the land of cheap and nasty after the name was appropriated by MFI - who are nothing more than a memory now too. Late 1980s, maybe turn of 1990s - at least the price is realistic

Belling Fantasia Cooker.
This is not the same model as posted back up the thread, although same manufacturer. This is based on the Belling Compact and would have been one of the smallest fan oven cookers at the time. Curious that for a TOL model it does not have a second small oven. Interesting also is that the rings are all the same size (7") with a dual zone ring. With other manufacturers at this size and price point there would have been 2 x 7" and 2 x 6" rings and no dual ring. It looks to have been well kept, it could well be original to the kitchen. If not, its not long after CLICK HERE TO GO TO vacbear58's LINK on eBay |

This brand was TOL in its day, but this seems an odd and unattractive colour combination to my eyes. Given the condition they have a cheek asking that sort of money for it!

Dont often see Revo cooker, although of course the name disappeared in the 1960s. Interesting cooker, it seems to have a socket on it although I cannot see where. Timer will work with oven or plates or socket apparently. It seems to have some sort of rotating cooking guide as well. Oven oven element not working could be a deal breaker though as finding another will not be easy. It looks like the cover over the grill/warming plate has distorted over the years

The cooker itself is nothing to write home about, its quite BOL. But I have never seen a cooker with sculpted doors like that before - its in keeping with what still is quite a popular style of kitchen door.

And patterned too! I was just mumping to myself that there had been no decent vintage kitchens come up (and I have been looking) when this 1970s time capsule came up. I have no idea about the units but they look to have been very carefully made. i presume the equipment is German, I wonder what sort of oven it has, it seems to be just out of shot. And the price could not be better ....
Now, if you could get the tiles too .... Oh, the Miele dishwasher is much newer than the rest, only about 20 years old. Al CLICK HERE TO GO TO vacbear58's LINK on eBay |

Louis
I was going on the basis that the fridge had décor panels which I had thought we had not had much of since the 1980s but Mike has told me they were available. I will admit that the glass shelves indicates that it is more modern - to be honest I had not noticed the shelves. Austin Yes it is a lovely big kitchen although it would have probably have been a bit easier to use with an island - even as an L shape - than just one big U, bit hard on the feet. Although I recently saw another kitchen (not posted here as a member was already after it) which must have been at least as big. There is no doubt that the tiles are a bit OTT although not the worst I have seen by any means - and that style is coming back, be warned. I am not sure I would go with the dreaded magnolia though LOLOL |

Don't like these tiles as much as in the last kitchen, late 1970s I would say - it has obviously be cut and carved somewhat to accommodate the modern range cooker and hood. All the appliances look to be reasonably new

The much desired Washdog, only this one has been modified as the lift and twist spout (rather like some US Hoovermatics) is missing. Can only assume the automatic rinse/spin no longer works

Very late 1960s early 1970s vintage. The power cable has been stuffed in the back of the oven, that should not normally be there

I was unsure about this one till I read the text - it looked like an old kitchen but it must have had a makeover at sometime as the appliances and granite worktops all look quite modern. But if it is Eastham then it must be mid 1970s to early 80s - as the styling and layout confirms.

I am not sure this falls into the vintage category or not but I have had one of these since 2003 and I LOVE IT! I used it just this weekend past. The chopper unfortunately gave up the ghost about 5 years ago but it got a LOT of use as it was like a mini processor. NIB. My memory says around £45 when new

And perhaps marginally safer, I would guess this to be from the 1930s. The Volex plug on it is interesting (its late 1950s/early 1960s) as its a very early example of a plug in which you could change the fuse without opening the plug - the red bit you can see is the fuse carrier which swivels out to access the fuse

I had a Kodak disc camera. It was basically a regular film camera that was in cartridge that was square with a circular centre. 15 small pictures were arranged in a disc fashion. Easier to load and unload but small film area mean pics not great in definition. Similar to a 110 one

This would have been an expensive kitchen in its day and this style of mixing wood and laminate was very popular although it all looks very dated now. This listing could be a bargain for someone as the almost new Siemens Dishwasher is included.
