Both seem to have a bit of wear, tear and rust from the washer's own water and the dryer's own heat...

Otherwise I think it's a real neat set!

The washer knob has a Lock n Spin segment...(and the knobs on both look too big)...were they swiped from a top loader set?

I had a set like these that were 1987 models in Almond. They were wonderful machines. We used them for 7 yrs. with zero problems. Sold them with the house and the new owners got several more yrs. of trouble free service. The washer was the best automatic I ever owned. It used plenty of water and most loads were done in 35-40 mins.

No Jerry the knobs are correct for these machines.   Also, the washer door locks during drain/spin, a safety switch stops the washer if the door is opened during any other part of the cycle.   The annoying thing about this is, the door stays locked even if you turn off the washer.   If the load is unbalanced for example, you have to turn the timer to "off" to unlock the door, then reset the timer after rebalancing the load.

I would love!

To find a nice set like these, these actually wash your clothes instead of just dampening them!

At least they have their own parking space.
