1966, nice 'fridge! The drawers missing is a problem. I wonder if the door opener works.

Awesome fridge! No mention whether they have the missing parts and at $500, it's going stay in that basement for a long time.

a '66 is the ONE fridge I've always made a point of seeking out. Have not seen one in person since at least 1975. I'd almost be willing to tear out a basement wall and pay for replacing it just to get my hands on it. That's true appliance sickness for ya :D

If it were complete, and the price realistic, I'd give it a go. While I LOVE my GE, I wish it was a bit larger.

While not as bad as I expected, it's still alotta dosh. Somewhere in my files I've images of these in both Red and Navy blue. Incredibly current-looking. Interior setups on these isn't all that great for use as a daily for anyone needing loads of storage…but good enough for canned drinks/properly scaled bottles. I figure, many of us grew up with fridges like this and they do just fine most of the time-- until you go on a bulk shopping spree...

is a BIG selling point to me, though. (Provided the thing runs properly)

This is very pretty, and yellow! Wonderful! But I am not sure that it has the pushbutton door... attached is a photo of a coppertone version of this, from a post a few months ago, and it has a trim emblem where the larger model has the pushbutton for the door.

Pushbuttons on door...

May have been a 19cu.ft. model feature only…that yellow one is a 14. But for some reason I am thinking all Imperials that year had the pushbutton opening system…?

Do you recall what that post was (Shopper's square?) or maybe a regular thread? Would love to know if there are more pics and story attached to that one. Maybe I'll find it by the time you read this~

I had contacted the seller about it a few weeks ago. I kinda wanted it but it's the smaller 14 cu-ft model with the fiberglass insulation and evaporator under the freezer floor.

And the asking price is above what I'd want to pay for it! There's another one which is the 19 cu-ft version but the seller sent me pictures and it has major rust issues. If that one would be clean and complete, I'd pay the asking price...
