Hello everyone,

I added a set of ASKOs to my collection. I am currently using them as my daily units. I have only had them for 3 days but I am noticing a clicking sound when the drum turns. Can someone give me some insight into this sound. I am not sure if it is normal or if something is wrong. I am linking a video from someone else who's drum is making the same sound. Thanks in advance for any help you can give.

Foreign Object

Sounds like a foreign object has found its way to the outer tub. Rubbing against the hole pattern in the inner basket. I would remove one of the paddles and have a good look all around the tub. Could be a bra wire maybe.

The clicking has stopped. I guess the object washed itself out. Thanks for the help Malcolm!!!!

The noise has returned. It seems it only happens when I fill the unit to the max with towels and run the 205 degree cycle. Its not a water boiling sound but that clicking sound that I hear when I turn the drum. Could it still be a foreign object even though the clicking is intermittent?

Sometimes, bearings create weired noises under extreme load and wash conditions. No fault; our AEG gets more silent when on a boilwash, our Bauknecht gets a slight chirping noise. I guess its just the heat expanding the metal of the bearrings.
