Did GE buy out Roper, because it also looks very much like the GE sourced Kenmores by the console design. | ||

Mike, Roper appliances is a brand now owned by Whirlpool. However, the range manufacturing factory was bought by GE. It is a complicated affair that involves Sears, who was the majority owner of Roper for many years. | ||
