I should have been clearer about the ad for yellow bulbs on Christmas trees. The ad showed a tree with all colors of lights and showed it with and without yellow to show how much more vibrant the tree looked with a few yellow bulbs scattered in amongst the other colors. | ||

I understood, anyway. And couldn't agree more.
By the same token, too many blue bulbs make a tree sort of cold, imho -- of course, there are people who like all blue lights, but they (the bulbs) are depressing to me. I once had a hotel room in South Beach that was decorated with a blue neon tube running around the room where the crown molding usually is. It made me wonder how many people had committed suicide there. I finally unplugged it. | ||
