Just sold for around $500, asking that same amount for an older used model is pretty steep.
I'll say it again; you'd think by the prices some sellers think it is still 1946! There is almost *NIL* market for conventional washing machines. Aside from collectors, the Amish and a handful of others no one wants the things. |

Yes - there is still a market, though very small for wringer washers but the pricing has to be just right. There are some nice ones on CL here nearly always, ripe for the picking. I sold my rarely used Maytag Master (without pump) for $75 in less than a week to a lady who rather gruffly told me when asked that she intended to wash clothes in it. Her demeanor softened a little when she said she needed another for her sister. |
