Glad to be part of the club. It's good to be here. The wife is throwing in laundry as we speak. She loves the new SQ. We can't wait for our Whirlpool dryer to go on the fritz so we can buy the matching Speedqueen dryer ha ha... The Whirlpool is fine though. |

They were smart in putting in that Normal Eco cycle to accommodate the water/energy police. For the Florida Speed Queen Club, I could cover East central and South Florida and you could cover West central and Northern FLA, if that'll help? |

I was totally incompetent as my role of Speed Queen Abolutus, et cetera. Been going ga ga over my non union Goodman AC carrying the freight. |

has a Goodman. It keeps the house cool, but is that thing loud! Sounds like a thunderstorm. |

I just got a new Speed Queen same model as you and love it. Had it for like a week now. I washed some old towels I use to wipe my car down with after I wash it and had some dirt stains that didn't come out in my old Kenmore. I was really impressed with the cleaning power of the Speed Queen. Totally awesome machine!

The way the agitator is shaped, it reminds me of how the old Whirlpool agitator used to be shaped. Obviously patterned after them. Those machines certainly did wash well too! |

Is it really necessary to replace the dryer, and perhaps the washer? I had a pipe burst upstairs 5 years ago and it dumped water on everything. The dryer drum had a standing puddle in it. Eventually I let them dry and the washer and dryer ran like normal. Granted whirlpool machine have a weep hole at the top of the transmission, so water seeping in could wreck the gear case, but in all honest Ive had other parts in water no issue.

The "water" that stood in my machines for over 24 hours was mostly mud, so I replaced the machines. There's a big difference between water from a broken supply pipe and muddy river water that contains who knows what in it. |

of use the Speed Queen TL we bought has been flawless. Having clean clothes in 30 minutes is awesome! Of course, our Whirlpool dryer takes it's sweet time drying the clothes. It is due for a lint vac cleaning from the exhaust hose. It should be done to avoid any fire hazard. |
