There are more to come... Probably this week there will be a few more washers, the spin dryer and the Solaris Dryer... THe Vapper is already here and being tested. I didn't trust it at first moment but then I used it and it surprised me... It's a little silly but for a business travel it can be excellent as most hotels have a hair dryer. |

I do prefer the old percale and muslin bed sheets however they also come with 60 years worth of waxy body oils that require boil washing to get rid of. I currently use a soup pot LOL. The boiling also ensures I'm not sleeping with any unwanted cooties...Cheryl |

Nope, the Laundry Alternative isn't made by Midea. I'ts made in China but under TLA specifications. It really impressed me how TLA is paranoid about quality. Of course, it will never be like a vintage washer, but for a modern washer, it goes much beyond in terms of quality. |

One of the first things i noticed, the way it performs... I've used tons of chinese washers and they are not that accurate, they are visibly "cheap crap", but this one operates smoothly and accurate. It's still being tested, I'm doing an average of 10 loads/day and it is always impressive, even with only one item that gets unballanced during the spin. |

Hi Martin It's not Avanti, it's a Magic Chef. It's doing great. It's here.... I use it sometimes because it's an excellent washer, but now i'm in love with this little toy so the Magic chef is a little bit abandoned. The apartment i moved in also has an Amana (Maytag) washer that is very good (but could be better) |

and that's GREAT wash action. I was not expecting that.
Back in the early 90s, I lived in an apartment that did not have a w/d. I got one of those small kenmore washers from Sears that connected to the sink. I forgot how it drained though. I'm trying to remember but I think it worked exactly like those portable dishwashers that connected to the sink. It was on wheels. It was very small but not this small. I was moving and didn't need it after 2 years and it sold very quickly. It was expensive though! |

Yes, the wash action amazes me. I've just finished another video, this time in Portuguese because several friends asked me to make a "Brazilian" version of it. The load was: 1 pair of socks, a boxer underwear, a t-shirt, a vest and a pair of throusers (tuxedo) that i wore yesterday in Los Angeles. Again, the cute and little toy showed it's not a toy at all. The upload is 11% complete and I'll post it here as soon as it's ready. |

about this being a thousand times better than taking your clothes to a laundromat. Rarely in my life have I had to go to the laundromat, thank God. I think I can count all the times on one hand.
It's amazing how stable it is. I mean, you're able to pick it up to move it, yet the fast spin is super smooth. I think you could get more clothes in that you're putting in though without overloading it. |
