Hey everyone. Do any of you happen to have any recommendations on how you search for your vintage machines?

Right now, I just have a handful of browser bookmarks for Craigslist searches, around my area and areas where I have friends and family (and could justify a dual-purpose trip). But while some of those are very specific searches (likely to not have any results), others are somewhat broad to catch misspellings, or ads where the poster didn't list the make or model, so I have some scrolling to do through the results.

I've tried some apps (cPro, CSmart, etc) hoping to get notifications on my phone, as well as online search helper tools (SearchTempest), but all seem to come up short in one way or another, and I'm back to searching manually with my bookmarks on a daily basis. :-/ and it's always little things- like an app cropping all of the preview photos to square or landscape rectangular, which crops off the control panel on vertical pictures of washers or dryers. Or apps which are too aggressive in searching (I don't need to check every minute!), and get your IP address banned from Craigslist.

And I have yet to find a tool that does a good job searching across sites- Craigslist, eBay, letgo, Facebook, etc, etc.

Anyone have any tools they have used with success? No obligation to give up your secrets, of course. :-)

Thanks

Everything I have found has been through dailylister.com.  It doesn’t save the manual checking every day, but it covers the whole country.  I’m willing to travel a bit for what I want, so it works for me.
