Were there ever laundromats equipped with late 1970's to early 1980's Fedders Norge built coin-op washers in them? If so, could anyone post pictures of the machines?

While those machines are long gone, there were two coin laundries in Rome NY that were Norge equipted. One was the "Polka Dot Village" that had the big Norge "globe" sign on the building. The washers were removed from that laundry long before I was old enough to explore it (replaced with GE TLs and Philco-Bendix FLs). The other laundry had SQ washers and a row of Norge washers with a sign over them indicating that they were "double loaders."

Every here and there you can still find laundries that have the Norge globe on the building. There is one still in Decatur, GA off of Church St. And the one is still there in Rome, NY.
