Wow! A Time-line with a white tub! Wish I lived in that area!

why no money?

Summer water bill? $173.00 I didn't even water the lawn, just the garden beds with a can, so I only got water where I needed it.
Did they hike the suburban rates again? Yet they had water running unchecked last summer in basements of vacant houses south of 8 Mile road.

Does anyone want them??

I'd be happy to jump on them for someone if they wanted them...

My apologies

I just spotted them today online and figured I would share them. I don't have the time to troll through all historical posts to ensure its not a repeat. Oddly enough, the first post was for Cleveland wasn't it?

Yes they are. Would be interested to know who in the club got them though.

The attitude presented in post #5 is exactly why I do not post. Why was it necessary to even write anything at all.

Post# 892322 , Reply# 10   8/3/2016 at 06:36 (2,794 days old) by brucelucenta ()

I think in post #5 he was simply pointing out that laundress had already posted them previously that day in another post.

attitude presented in post #5

Would that be my post?    Would you mind explaining what "attitude" you are referring to?   Did my post offend you somehow?   Please explain.

But yes Bruce, that is exactly why I made that post, thank you.

Steve,

that would have been very considerate for you do have jumped on them for someone though. Not to mention gracious and generous!
I thought attitude was what you give or get when a suitor or siutee isn't interested in being picked up in a bar or club. (LOL) That is aside from being judgmental of menu suggestions.
Sorry, I shouldn't go down in the gutter with back jabs, but I'm not perfect either.

LOL I guess I just can't relate since I live for getting picked up in a bar or anywhere else!!!! I'd still love to know who got them.

Bruce,

not live to be picked up, but faced much attitude back in the day when bars were about the only place to meet others before the internet.
Then there was a Sunday pot-luck 22 years ago with the proper attitude, and have not been single since.
All the best in your quests.

Steve,

mate, now if that were a vintage Holden HQ, HX, or HZ Monaro, or Statesman Caprice, I'd definately have taken you up on that offer!

It's really a shame to not even know who got them. I can't even look at the pictures of them anymore….

Post# 892610 , Reply# 17   8/5/2016 at 09:46 (2,792 days old) by vacerator (Macomb, Michigan)
I can.

Glad they are not crushed and smelted down. Not many around I bet. They are easy on the eyes, just like your Elites Bruce. Those are (LG) Kenmore's yes?
A shame GM didn't keep Frigidaire longer. They likely would have used fiber optics for the console, drum/tub illumination like they did for car ash trays, etc. back in the 80's.

Who posted what when or where doesn't really matter in the long run. It is good that members are taking the time and interest to spread the word when interesting items are spotted. More eyes out there the better I say....

It's the pictures that got smaller!

All right Mr. DeMille, I'm ready for my close-up.

No worries!

other than what my next "new" washer will be. I'm open to suggestions, but my better half isn't keen on any used idea's. Not yet anyway. I mean, a cup of bleach and a rinse cycle disinfects.
