Guys, here's a quick video showing a little bit more of the Solaris Plus static dryer.
This kind of dryer is a huge success in Brazil since mid 70's and now it's also available here in the US.

Enjoy!

Excellent Thomas!

Didn't Whirlpool, or Maytag offer one here a decade or so ago? It may have had rigid sides, and was free standing.

Might have to get one of those. Have the spin dryer already and love that so much. Cuts drying time to a fraction!

Yes, Maytag had that one that had a tumble dryer on the bottom and a static dryer on the top and looked like a side by side fridge.

This is much simpler compact and easy to use.

first time I'm ever hearing of such a thing. So tell me, does this heat the room up?

that would be my question too.....

what sort of heat does it give off during use........although I could see it in a bathroom setting, and turning on the exhaust fan....

makes you think, if you could stand under that after a shower......think of the laundry you would be saving from using towels.....just imagine, a new way to dry your chest hairs....

Hahahaha

Brilliant idea; Now I'm thinking of a car wash blower on the ceiling above my bathtub...

It doesn't heat too much the ambient. it's almost like a professional hair dryer on max speed and temp, without the hair dryer noise.

It sounds like a desk fan. really quiet, but you can hear the airflow.
