Succumbed to wife's pressure to replace the imperial 21 with a new stainless quiet flimsy dishwasher.... the top rack was not cleaning very well. Probably needs a new inlet valve. Other than that it works like a champ. I believe this came new with the house in 1977... but could be wrong. Serial number in the picture. I know I'm going to regret it... so how about $50 to make me feel better about caving in? Or should I keep it in the garage so that when the new maytag craps out in five years i have a replacement :)
