Nordmende was all of a rage in my family when I was very young... they were never into washing machines but TV sets. Most of my family members were in Switzerland at the time (in the 70s) but even later in Italy in the 80s and 90s the NordMende brand was still highly sought for within my family!
Nowadays it's just a mere attempt once again to revive a defunct brand... by Vestel :/ |

Yes Qualin...
I occasionally wash my trainers in the machine on a warm and ideally not too long cycle. Some machines have a specific cycle designed for shoes but I found it pointless in my experience (my mum's Indesit has got it) so I just use a standard cycle and I chuck some old cloths in the drum together with the shoes in order to absorb the blow. I also tend to reduce the spin speed... the results are top notch ;) Below I included a link to a vid I made some time ago with a wash cycle similar to what I described above: CLICK HERE TO GO TO Haxisfan's LINK |
