The Whirlpool washer(?) is newer, but for $20 for both, you can donate the washer or use it for parts...

I've never seen an old Frigidaire dryer on Craigslist, but then I am still young. lol. :-)

SORRY - can't post photos, maybe someone else will for us?

Welcome back Phil!   I've been too good about not buying anything for a while now, so.... LOL

Here's the photos of the dryer for the archives.  Also, I've included the photo of the newer Whirlpool washer.

That dryer is smacking of 1964 to me for some reason, but I'm sure the other Phil will know the real date!

Thanks Paul. I appreciate your help with the photos. I was thinking it was 1963-5'ish. PhilR probably has the washer or maybe the set?

How's your space? I know, what space, right? :-)

Good to hear from you.

That puppy certainly is a 1964 model dryer.  For some very strange reason, 1964 Frigidaire washers or dryers seem to be the one year that rarely pops up.

Is that mouse activity that can be seen below the slots?

Ken, it can be but it's more likely regular lint!

I just cleaned my 1965 turquoise dryer that had had not been used for years and it had a lot of mouse activity! I used the garden hose and a strong cleaner in every spot I could reach! But there was no mess inside the drum or in the vent holes under it!

I have one that's similar to that 1964 dryer.

Mine is also a Deluxe but it has automatic drying, a remote timer and it's a Flitrator (condenser) model.

Late in the game to not have a separate safety start switch; or is it a pull of the control dial knob?
