Hello everyone,
Just a quick question....While replacing the struts on my W660, I scratched the base plate trying to get the new struts into the mounting holes. Should i put something on the base plate or should it be fine the way it is? There was no damage to the drum just the bottom base plate that holds the leveling legs. No major scratches just a few small 1/4" scratches where i wrestled with the strut and it won lol. Also the difference pre and post strut replacement is unbelievable!!!!

Thanks in advance for any advice

I scratched mine 10 years ago when I replaced the pump....no problems yet.  I think I'm gonna need shocks in the near future too.
