New Bosch models are pretty good, with many features and great energy saving.I think that it doesn't worth to swap it with an older model only because it is miele. |

Older miele's use 3 wash arms at a time and have more water in the sump.
I've got an advanta 2020 that uses almost 2.5 times more per fill than the new 4925 series. Depending on the age though, there isn't a fan or heating element for the dry cycle. I can't see the model though. If you are keeping the bosch and really aren't out anything getting the miele, try the miele out. |

Hi Spacedogb,
the Miele you could get is a high-end model from the early 2000s (it came just after the TOL model in the Miele range of the time), it features lots of different washing programmes including a no-heating wash to use if the machine is connected to a hot water faucet (standard in your country). I've recently switched from a 10 y-o old Bosch to a vintage Miele dishwasher (model G562) and I'm very happy: I didn't notice any remarkable change in my electricity bill (I always used the Auto cycle, I'm not a fan of those Eco programmes taking ages) and everything it washes comes out wonderful. I do advise you to make good advantage of this chance! Ivan |
