Went to by trusty Duet to toss in some kitchen towels that I used for canning last night, set it for steam and OXI turned it on.  A few minutes later I see SUD  then F35.  Cleared it, reset and got the same thing.  Researched on Google and most likely culprit is the pressure switch.  Ok, no big deal I'll pick one up.  Checked the price  average is over $100!!!  Insane.  No way I will pay that.

So as I sit here typing this , the machine starts working.  Weird.

Your washer started working again, but be aware, if it happened once, it will most likely happen again, so be prepared.

My first KM He5t did that the first time I plugged it in and never was able to do laundry in it.   Turns out it had a host of other issues and Kenmore replaced it with another machine 2 weeks later.   This machine (the replacement) worked flawlessly for about 4 years when that familiar and dreaded "F35" error code appeared on the display.   I replaced the water level / pressure switch and it's working flawlessly again.

The link below is for the part on Amazon ($80).

Good luck!

Kevin

Thanks, I saw that.  If it continues to act up I may simply look for a replacement machine.  At this point I have 2 other Duets, one in mid repair.  I like having 2, god knows why - I live alone, but I find it kind of fun to load up both machines and let them run.

Since it's not a pressing matter I may make an eBay search, perhaps someone will be parting out a machine with bad bearings.

the same problem, called a local parts place,he said they are know for this,he said take the hose off the pressure switch blow threw it (known to clog where it connects to tub) reconnect & try it. I did & it took care of the problem.other wise the pressure switch was 49.99 plus tax(which I didnt need)

Thanks, will try that at some point.  If does need a new switch I'll look around for a parts donor there always seems to be a few on CL with bad bearings.  Other option is we have a regional auction site with occasional good deals on washers and dryers, may keep my eye out for an Electrolux to play with, always wanted one of those.

I also live alone (with my dog), though that will change in the next couple months.   Anyway... I can easily do 4 loads at the same time and being I do 4 to 5 loads every 2 weeks, it's really great NOT having to spend all day doing laundry (just 2 hours to wash & dry).
