Having had a Whirlpool of similar vintage (but not this nice) with the same flexible shelving system, I would say two of the solid shelves belong above the crispers (they have rails for the drawers) and one above a deli drawer that's also missing. I'm pretty sure there should be a prop up front between the crispers to serve as a shelf support.
Where are the handles? There appears to be no provisioning at all in that regard. I really dislike the cheap modern fridges without handles, but at least even those offer a cup for your fingers.
It's a beautiful and unusual fridge, but speaking for myself, I'd stop short of considering it a trophy piece even if it wasn't missing parts. Furthermore, if the seller is suggesting use as a keggerator, he would be wasting his time reconstructing the interior to its original configuration. This post was last edited 10/01/2016 at 18:13 |
