I've had the subject dishwasher installed for a few years, but just this week it has begun to tilt forward when the door is lowered. The whole thing can be jiggled around in its enclosure.
I see no evidence of any fasteners to hold it in place (like the brackets at top front on KA machines) and have forgotten how this was accomplished. The owner's manual has limited installation instructions with only guidelines for water and electrical connections.
Can anyone advise on what may have come loose and how to re-secure the machine under the counter?
Thanks,
Ralph |

Thanks guys.
I did see the holes on both sides, but they appeared to require a fairly long and large-headed screw. I didn't see any means of fastening at the top.
It had crossed my mind that using the leveling feet would be an alternative solution. What I don't get is why, since those feet were likely the method used to secure the machine, something has changed to loosen it up.
I'll take another look later today and see what I come up with. |

Opening and closing the door sevral thousand times may just have wiggled them lower over the time... |

I checked out the holes on both sides and saw that a couple of "grabber" screws would probably do the trick.
I used one in each of the top holes and the machine is secured.
If I'm not the one to uninstall it, somebody is going to have a hell of a time figuring out why the thing won't budge if they're not familiar with Miele's system. |
