Knowing that hubby didn't get me what I wanted this (I've been bad apparently...) I made arrangements to get 3 more vintage dishwashers! I managed to retrieve 2 of them earlier this month and only got them out of the ol' Focus wagon this week.

First 'new' toy - a '63 Frigidaire Deluxe spin tube.  It has the upper spray arm that I thought was only on the Custom Imperial models!

Machine #2 is a Frigidare Slant-top portable. It's a Custom Deluxe ( model DWCDTR); I think this may be one of the last Frigidaire top-loaders.  It needs some tinkering and a new fill hose but it seems to be in good shape.

But '3-level wash' seems a bit of a stretch... We'll find out for sure 2017 with any luck!

You're just like a squirrel gathering and stashing your nuts away for later use.

It was only the Custom Imperials that had the detergent dispenser in this design.

Between these two models, you should be able to wash all the preparation and serving pieces from a large meal.
