No, you cannot fix stupid.
Problem for many is that Americans by and large are ignorant of extractors called "spin dryers". They hear the word "dryer" and equate it with a tumble clothes dryer that uses heat to dry things. No, many also do not read owner's manuals and or directions for installation/use either. However in their defense often what comes with new appliances today (especially those made in Asia) is nothing more than a series of drawing/diagrams. One supposes this is to side step having to translate things into many different languages, but again isn't helping the functionally illiterate. Have the larger LA spin dryer and so yes, am very familiar with the instructions (or lack thereof) that came with the thing. |

Thomas
Can I just congratulate you on your incredible patience in dealing with that nitwit.' If it's of any consolation, I get people like that in my charity store as well, but more along the line of have you got this skirt in a size 12. When I explain that our goods are donated and what you see is all there is, they get huffy and think I am being obstructionist. In my 36 years of working in retail, I truly believe that nowadays, the average consumer is totally demanding and expect everything to be done their way. The other issue I find is a lot of them want top quality but only want to pay peanuts for it. To use a laundry analogy, they want Miele quality but Samsung prices. |

Thomas, why does any of this surprise you?
We as a nation just recently elected a reality TV show star plutocrat, who has espoused racist, sexist, elitist, and religious bigotry time and again, to be our next president. This customer of yours has plenty of company. However, it's good to know that few if any of them frequent this venue. On an different site some years ago I remember a poster complaining that while her dishwasher worked great, she was dissatisfied because it didn't also put away the dishes. Another one complained that her dishwasher left small puddles of water in the concave ends of up upturned cups and such. ' And thankfully these sorts of people are not quite the majority here. Yet. |

Thomas, Did that really happen? Nothing would surprise me anymore. I'll admit that I rarely read instructions, but I also would never call anyone to bitch about my not knowing how to operate something. We're doomed. |

"She shouldn't be allowed to use a crank hand wringer, either!" Please don't make me start copying the complaints I receive about about a product which Amazon description is exactly "WonderWash - Non-electric hand crank manual washing machine." People buy it and then return it because it requires to be cranked, or because the "product description is wrong - The unit does not spin dry the clothes. |

I think you will have to put in the manual 100 times that a spindryer is not a tumble dryer. You will have to exclude acts of God for warranty claims. Also add that the spindryer is not meant for drying cats and dogs, but only for laundry. I suggest you specifically add that it is not a salad spinner nor a juicer.
