Cool machines that washed fairly well. Water extraction, not all that great. The matching dryers were S L O W. I think they came out in about 1958 or 1959 and they changed the design somewhat in the early to mid 60's for the washers. The matching dryers were still very slow to dry though. When these came out, they were rated close to the top of the list in consumer reports magazine. I personally liked them because they washed in an unusual manner. They were one of three brands that Otasco carried until Philco quit making washers and dryers. I do remember it was the end of the 60's when they quit making washers and dryers. Apparently not long after Kelvinator quit making their off center eccentric circle agitating washers which were my personal favorite washers of all time. Otasco used to sell rebadged Kelvinator washers and dryers too, under the "Leonard" brand which there used to be an abundance of here. Thanks to scrappers who go around like vultures, grabbing up and even stealing anything metal to make money, there are no trace of either of these machines now. I lost many machines that a scrapper stole from my stockpile of machines.
