I understand that whirlpools tend to have deep narrow tubs in comparison to maytag's wider shallow tubs. How do the depth and diameter compare between a whirlpool direct drive and a maytag tub (dependable care for example)?
The Whirlpool super capacity tub is bigger than the extra large Maytag tub. The regular or large capacity Whirlpool tub is the deep narrow one. It holds less than either the Maytag extra large one or the Whirlpool super capacity tub. The Maytag standard capacity tub is a little smaller still.
