I just posted the 1974 General Electric Catalog of Appliances for Builders to the ever growing Ephemera Library if anyone would like a copy...

I'll bet my grandmother's huge window AC is in that catalog.  I remember when she bought it.  I guess it was around the same time she got her green FF washer, which I believe was also in 74.  It was still washing in 2008 when she had her stroke!  She sold it with the house so I'm sure it's now a Buick or something.

Thanks for posting that Robert.

Anyone notice the dishwasher 24" wide x 24" deep, UNDER THE SINK? Ah don't think so.

GE 24" Wide Under Sink DW

They still make these DWs, they are a much better idea for space savings in a small kitchen than those awful 18" Chinese DWs that every body sells here in the US.

I have seen one like that. The top rack is almost non existent though, from what I recall.

Slightly less than half a traditional top rack but still very functional. We had one - the Hotpoint version from 1973 - 1987, literally one cycle but met the need. Then we replaced it with the GE version which had a few more cycle options
