If you're in the northeast, here's a nice older Maytag pair for you.

What beautiful machines, sure wish I was closer. I wonder if these have a lighted console? Thanks for sharing. Terry

newer dryer ?

I wonder what year they got rid of the "halo of heat" whereas this one is "newer style"

Terry, I think on the Maytags of this era, if they sport the
lighted console, there is a short little seam cover above
the Timer because the translucent plastic panel is a left and right two piece affair. The less snazzy models have the little
pilot light in a one solid piece panel and of course the least
fancy have only a little mark at the center position. I could be f o s about this, but I think it is a detail I have begun
to recognize!!!!

That's a Maytag A208 and DE308. Nice machines, no lighted consoles, no pilot lights, however. Dumb, as opposed to solenoid-operated, bleach dispenser. These are the from the "gold panel" center-dial series made right before they switched over to the right panel-mounted control dial. I would get them, but I already have them.
