LAA series. Looks to be 24" unless the pictures are wonky. Nicely featured except missing a self-clean filter. |

There were a lot of these growing up in NYC; we had a 1957 version of this model( my very first washing machine)in our apartment where washing machines weren't allowed. Tenants would buy these, but them on casters, and roll them into the closet or bathroom when the Supers came a callin'.
They're wonderful; a full-sized washing machine inside 4 square feet. Always makes me ask, if Whirlpool could produce this beauty with only 24", why the hell were their regular sized machines 29" wide? |

The tub was not as wide. The amount of water for a full fill as well as the load capacity was different in the 24 inch machines.
Laundress, I think you are noticing that the medallion in the center of the knob is missing. Sharp eyes! |

And yes a Silver Anniversary model, WP put that little medallion on the consoles for only about 1/2 the LAA and LAB model run, [ this would be a LAB7............. model # ]
I was always disappointed they did nothing when they reached their Golden Anniversary of 50 years of making Automatic Washers.
