Pardon a dumb question from a newbie : Can the left opening door be reversed to a right side opening? |

Welcome. No problem here with 'newbie' questions. Even the most experienced of us in one area are clueless in others. However, I can give you a definitive answer on this one. No. Here's why. Frigidaire ran heaters to prevent sweating along the sides of the front of the refrigerator and in the separation between the freezer and cooler section. They're easy to damage and very hard to remove. You would need to anchor right into where they're run.

Panthera and Goatfarmer are right, the doors can't be reversed on these, they either came with the standard hinges on the right or optional left hinged doors.
Some models even had different door liners and freezer baskets (on bottom-freezer models with automatic ice makers). Other things like the food pedals and the door handles/trim couldn't be reversed either. |
