Saw this the other day. Brand new Dynamic Next. I've been wondering for the past year or so if these were coming from China and it seems so.

Does anyone know how long these have been made in the PRC? Are any HooverCandy machines made in Italy or Europe or is it all in the Far East? This will not affect quality in the slightest as they will be building them to the same standards but I'm more curious if anything.

Nearly bought one of these but saw it was rather audible on wash cycles and I needed a silent machine due to living in an open plan apartment so I bought a Beko ProSmartInverter 8kg instead which is very well built and quiet compared to the Hotpoint Smart it replaced. The quieter Hoover Inverter model was the 10kg which is too big for me alone and I found the detergent drawer to be too small.

As far as I know, all Hoover/Candy Washer Dryers are made in Italy, Dryers in Turkey and Washers being made in China or Italy depending on the model/batch or some other factor.

Hoover

I considered buying one too, but decided against it, based on the small dispenser drawer size and after reading a few horror stories on the internet.

Rolls Rapide,

Same thing here. I really like the feature list on their machines but the detergent drawer is just too small and I would dislike the powder spilling everytime I used it and I have heard of some issues with the touch sensitive fascia. I trust they will resolve the issue with those at some point.
