I've been looking for a detergent that has a little more in the cleaning department than my usual Arm and Hammer. I just finished a bottle of the Fresh Scent, which is one of my favorites. So, I came home yesterday with a bottle of Tide Clean Breeze. Big mistake... While it cleans well, the smell knocks me down! I'm not a fan of constantly noticing the scent on my clothes or waking up to that smell on the sheets.

What should I try next? I do like the scent of Purex Mountain Breeze and the aforementioned A&H, but want something with more power. The last time I tried Persil, I felt the same about the strong scent. What else is there? I am open to powdered detergents also but it has to rinse well. I use the spray rinse here and there on my Whirlpool VMW.

If you like the cleaning power of Tide, but not the scent.  Then try Tide Free & Clear.  There is a liquid and powder version as well as packs.
