Hey follow washer lovers. I have in my collection an item that I bought a few years ago thinking it was a washtub. But one day a friend of mine was looking at it and told me he thought it used to be a washer. so upon doing some research by way of lee maxwells washer sight I was able to find it. the full name of the washer was the silver flash by the lamneck company. lee has one in his collection if you look. it is from 1939 and had a clamp on wringer which I don't have and a rod that went down inside to agitate the clothes. I would say it was a very general type of machine. anyone who has seen some of my pics can see it in the background. currently it is at a friends house waiting to be made back into a washer. if anyone has any info on this please share. thanks Bill the drycleaner
