My house still has the original 1958 kitchen appliances, including this cool cooktop. It is still chugging along, but the 2 6" elements seem to only work on high now. I'm assuming the controls have finally gone. Impossible to find them for the 3 wire dual voltage monotubes. Anyone had any luck retrofitting something like this with modern controls/elements? Would hate to upgrade....

Several prominent, knowlegeable members live in the Beltsville area who probably could lend some expertise.
