I have a vintage Republic Steel Kitchen and have an age appropriate Hotpoint Dishwasher. I'd like to know more about it and need some parts as well. The first photo is before the knob was lost and shows the Hotpoint plate behind the knob as well. The next 4 photos are as is.

The only number on the whole thing is 2350-15 marked on the switch itself. Any info as to the age wand model would be nice. The parts I need are the knob and switch with the "Hotpoint" sign and I also need the chrome bit above the door. I'd appreciate any help or advice. Thank you.

I would say your Hotpoint dishwasher was made sometime between 1950 & 1955, based on it being a 27" wide model (they went to being 24" for 1956). The handle and dial were also different on models previous to 1950. The Republic Steel cabinets are from after about 1953, as yours have the recessed handles.

Service manual for that machine is here..

Parts are going to be hard to come by, you may have to retro-fit depending on what parts you need. I had one of those machines for a while, I believe it is gravity drain, but I don't remember for sure. I did have to retro-fit a few things, but it was a wonderfully sounding dishwasher, very soothing.
