Fun machines!  But they aren't 100% automatic.... You have to operate switches to fill, wash, then drain the machine.  However, you get to decide how long the washes and rinses are and how many you need.    Gotta get mine out of mothballs to play with this summer!!

I'm sure the fact that you have to mess with the machine throughout the cycle really doesn't detract from the appeal with the folks around here ;)

Fully or semi automatic, it's still way cool. It looks like it's post WWII vintage, maybe 45' to 50'?

AND as the label warns..

..."It's Portable "and It's NEW"

There's some undisclosed in the "New" waiting for unexpected twists and spins.
*:)

It reminds me of some products that came in these large, dense cardboard drums with a metal lid...maybe floor cleaning compound that was used cleaning gym floors and schools.

Martin...compared to a portable DW today, how do the Db levels compare...is it much louder?

I think GE only made these from 1949 to 1951.  I always thought it was a throwback to the early Walker dishwashers, round wringer-washer type tub and all...
