Thanks for the link! And yes, be prepared for an hour or two to slip by while you peruse all the great ads.

Is it just me or is this Kelvinator console reminiscent of a 1956 Frigidaire?

Thank you

I believe the quality that makes these old ads so compelling to study is the same factor that made them jump out at readers and potential customers: the fact that the illustrated content was done by illustrators, not photographers so the pictures sort of jump off the page at the reader. The rest of the illustrations in the periodicals were created in the same way which is what made the colors and the degree of shading created by corners, the pattern of light on a wall above and below a lamp shade and from one side of of a hallway to the other in room interiors look so rich and things like Christmas decor so magical. Think of the quality of light in an illustration of Christmas Tree lights versus the quality of light in a photograph of the same subject.

1964 Norge Dispensomat

Our 1964 Norge Dispensomat pair that was on Ozzie & Harriet too.

In the last month I've found pics of this, our first matched washer/dryer pair, as well as the O'Keefe & Merrit wall oven and cooktop that was in our 1961 house.  And I've looked for these eve since I joined in 1998.
